Questions & Answers
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What shade is the “Naked” color and what is it best used for?
“Naked” is a soft, natural nude tone — semi-opaque with a subtle beige-pink hue. It’s designed to mimic a healthy nail bed, making it ideal for French manicures, nude overlays, babyboomer gradients, or minimalist nail designs. Its flattering tone suits most skin types and adds elegance with simplicity.
What is the difference between BIB and AIB?
“BIB” stands for Builder In Bottle — Purple Professional’s builder gel in a bottle with brush. “AIB” stands for Acrygel In Bottle, which is their acrygel hybrid version in the same bottle format. The main difference lies in the product formulation: BIB is builder gel, while AIB is acrygel (acrylic + gel hybrid) offering more strength and different handling characteristics.
What is the difference between the AIB “In Bottle” format and the 50 ml pot version?
AIB “In Bottle” provides a brush-on format ideal for quick, clean applications, overlays, or reinforcements. The 50 ml pot version, although possibly similar in formula, comes in a jar and is designed for sculpting, heavy use, and more control using an external brush. Key differences: packaging type, amount of product, and application style.
